Technology company applied to electric power generation and energy efficiency seeks a technician or engineer (advanced or graduate) in Systems / Telecommunications / Electronics.
Responsibilities
- Application and management of software platforms in renewable energy and energy efficiency applications
- Development of communications system and software for demand analysis/electric power generation
- Integration of data from customer systems with proprietary platforms
- Technical support to customers
- Project management
- Preparation of control sheets and reports
- Contact, monitoring and management of customers and suppliers

- Excellent predisposition for communication with suppliers and customers
- Verbal and written communication in English (not exclusive)
Required technical knowledge
- Knowledge of single board microcomputers. Example: Raspberry Pi
- Structured cabling, network architecture and serial communication
- Experience in communications and data integration
- Handling of http and ftp protocols
- Satellite or wired internet links
- Management of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, others)
- Knowledge of high-level structured programming languages such as Python (preferably), C, Java, Visual Basic, etc.
- Mastery of Linux distributions
- Database domain
Preferential technical knowledge (not exclusive)
- Internet of Things (IoT) Technologies
- Arduino Handling
- Knowledge of sensors and actuators
- Knowledge of IEC 61.850 for the electrical sector
