  • Goesgreen summons landowners interested in solar energy.
  • The company intends to develop new renewable generation projects in the Argentine territory.
  • Landowners from all over the country will be able to start businesses related to renewable energies.

Buenos Aires, Monday, February 27, 2023 – Goesgreen, a leading company in the energy sector, continues to expand its offer for the Argentine electricity market.

In this year 2023, one of its strategic objectives is to focus on the development of new electricity generation projects from photovoltaic solar technology and storage.

That is why it opens a special call for owners who wish to dispose of their land for the installation of sustainable enterprises.

With this initiative, executives from Goesgreen reaffirm their commitment to the country by opening business opportunities in different provinces.

"We are looking for allies who are interested in obtaining a benefit from the productive use of their lands, from the vision of a stable energy market in the long term, making a contribution to the development of renewable energies in the region," said Gustavo Zilber, executive of Goesgreen.

Direct owners of land registered by the competent authority of their jurisdiction, who have deeds and associated documentation in order and in compliance with the legal provisions, are invited to apply.

According to the executive of Goesgreen, the ideal situation for this activity, but not limiting for the land to be studied, is that they are located in the vicinity of medium or high voltage public electricity networks, that have some type of land access and proximity to communities to favor logistics of the services.

As it is necessary to ensure in the order of 2 hectares for each megawatt of power to be installed, a requirement (not exclusive) is to have horizontal land between 5 and 400 ha.

Expressions of interest may be sent to info@goesgreen.com.ar consigning general data of the owner to be contacted, as well as location and land dimensions.

  • New digital tools, tested processes and a multidisciplinary team would be the keys for Goesgreen to support renewable projects in dynamic markets in Europe and Latin America.
  • Goesgreen offers Intelligence for business (I4 Business) solutions tailored to clients with electricity generation projects.
  • A personalized systematization of generation project information allows optimizing the decision-making process and maximizing production.

Madrid, Friday February 3 Goesgreen, a leading technology company in the energy sector, worked on an innovative concept to offer integrated Asset Management and Energy Data Intelligence services that boost investments in renewable energies, both in the development stage, as well as during construction and operation.

"We developed a solution for asset management, which brings together the experience of managing more than 600 MW in renewable energy generation plants and the latest digital tools, within an own production platform tailored to each need," Gustavo specified. Gil, president of Goesgreen.

The solution of Goesgreen It contributes to improve the performance of renewable power plants in commercial operation and to reduce the LCOE of future projects. And it is that being "tailor-made" allows direct owners and investment funds to speed up the decision-making process about their energy assets, based on their own data, systematized and that seek to optimize the available resources.

Motivated to solve technical and managerial challenges, Goesgreen incorporated into your platform I4 Business (Intelligence for business) tested processes and digital tools that adapt to the management philosophy and profile of each client. There, owners will be able to find all the necessary information to run their businesses linked to renewable generation assets.

"A global perspective on the management of renewable assets allows synchronizing the technical, operational, commercial and regulatory aspects, to take actions in a coordinated manner and clearly understanding the implications of each decision between the different areas", explained Nicolás Rossi, CEO of Goesgreen.

Creating a multidisciplinary team with knowledge in all the required areas can represent a significant challenge, even more so if there is not a portfolio and number of projects that allow for a convenient scale. That is why the solution of Goesgreen It goes beyond management software.

Next to the platform, Goesgreen ofrece un acompañamiento personalizado que genera beneficios adicionales para el owner por sus de expertise en Asset & Data Management para un importante volumen de proyectos precedentes.

The benefits range from knowing the common problems of renewable assets and their possible solutions, optimizing maintenance plans based on historical data, establishing performance and availability improvement strategies, to having a base that allows establishing comparability parameters between the main typical indicators, in order to identify deviations early.

  • New renewable generation and energy storage projects will make it possible to displace forced generation and will contribute to reducing costs in the electricity market.
  • Resuming public tenders encourages new companies to want to participate in the market and accelerates the pace of development of competitive energy projects.
  • Goesgreen is positioned as an ally to carry out renewable generation and energy storage projects, promoting the inclusion of new players in the market.

Buenos Aires, Monday, January 2 – The Expressions of Interest (MDI) for renewable generation and energy storage projects that were presented during the year 2022 exceed 14 GW and show the interest that exists to make sustainable investments in the Argentine electricity sector.

The announcements of the current national public administration regarding the imminent launch of a tender based on those MDIs, reactivated many companies willing to carry out new projects in the country. The time to invest is today.

Goesgreen, a leading provider of solutions for energy projects with a presence in markets as dynamic as Europe and Latin America, is positioned as an ally to support bidding companies from the conception of the idea to the management of renewable generation and/or storage assets.

"In a framework of opportunity like the current one, it is important to have a comprehensive vision that allows designing and optimizing projects from a technological, economic, and regulatory perspective in order to achieve the development of a reliable and successful renewable asset from its conception," he said. Nicolás Rossi, CEO of Goesgreen.

Based on the experience with the management of 650 solar MW and having developed multiple projects for RenovAr and MATER, the company intends to transform the ambition of new clients into a specific generation and/or storage project to be presented in the call which is at the door

“The incorporation of storage will allow a greater integration of renewable energies in the system, occupying a smaller share of electricity distribution and transmission capacity. This, added to the fact that renewable energy will be commercialized at a lower price than forced generation at the point of consumption, will generate a virtuous scheme to expand the number of distributed projects and increase the sustainability of the electrical system,” he added. Nicolás Rossi.

Hence, the call from the MDI is outlined as the ideal mechanism to execute upcoming projects of up to 90 MW of capacity, in strategic points of the network to reduce or eliminate supply restrictions, while allowing to reduce forced generation from fuels. high cost, imported and non-renewable.

In order to ensure the success of this call, it will be important to consider the lessons learned from previous tenders in order to create an environment conducive to the presentation of competitive projects and the entry of new local or foreign players.

"If Argentina wants a greater participation of renewable energies, it must incorporate elements in the bidding process that allow diversification of the sector not only with multiple non-conventional renewable technologies but also with a variety of players in the market," he warned. Gustavo Gil, President of Goesgreen.

This will be a great opportunity to carry out a superior tender, after three years without public calls to access electricity supply contracts (PPA) with the Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico S.A. (CAMMESA).

For now, Argentina has 5,149 MW of installed capacity from Non-Conventional Renewable Energy (ERNC) sources. As of today, this represents 12% of the national energy matrix; but it is a figure that could double during this decade, if the necessary impulses are given.

The Guidelines for an Energy Transition Plan by 2030, approved by Resolution No. 1036/2021, propose an escalation of the participation of renewable energies until it reaches at least 20%. In a scenario that contemplates current national capacities, achieving that percentage would imply incorporating a total of 8,700 MW. If they are considered to be incorporated at a faster rate, renewables could reach up to 30%, adding 11,875 MW by 2030.

“Regardless of the volume that is awarded in the new tender, it is a great step to give way to renewables to replace power and energy that have contributed significant costs to the system for several years. This path would allow the deployment of projects with a technological variety, close to demand and distributed throughout the national territory," he concluded. Gustavo Gil.

In this regard, it is noteworthy that the upcoming tender will not only allow the installation of new generation and storage capacity, taking advantage of the availability of transmission networks throughout the national territory, it will also have positive externalities towards the environment and society, such as providing security and sustainability in the supply of the demands at the federal level, encourage productive development in the provinces and promote the creation of local employment.
